Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù (Tsteríh /ˈi̘rlʊ/ [hill; slope; slant] [yogurt]) is a subtropical Town located in the Tewqàrbedbù County of the Picham Community.
The name Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù was founded by Zêbmeg̈mê Probert, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù receives an average of 281 cm/y (110 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2214 m (7263 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù was founded durring the late 12th century in fall of the year 1057, by Zêbmeg̈mê Probert. The establishment of Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Zêbmeg̈mê Probert electing to pay people to resettle in Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù.
Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of premissive flagstone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The town's top tier civilian fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
A look around Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.

Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù's natural decorations nor waterways.
Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.

Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves bloodletting to channel Invocation energies of tier 3 via throat chanting.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Kami solved a major long term problem plaguing the town. One of Odíhg Tsteríhi̊rlù's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
